Community Guidelines

4KIDS OF SOUTH FLORIDA, INC.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES (SOCIAL MEDIA)

Applicable to the Heal.online

Effective: October 7, 2026

  1. Purpose
These Community Guidelines (these “Guidelines“) set the standards of conduct that apply to interactions on the social media accounts operated by 4KIDS of South Florida, Inc. (the “Ministry“) in connection with the Heal.online program (collectively, the “Ministry Accounts“). The Ministry Accounts include the Ministry’s official accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and any other platform on which the Ministry maintains an account for the Heal.online.

These Guidelines do not apply to the Ministry’s websites, which do not host public comment sections or user-submitted posts. Interactions on the Ministry’s websites are governed by the separate Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for those sites.

The Ministry maintains its social media presence to share educational content, communicate with a broader community about the Ministry’s mission and programs, and provide a general point of contact. The Ministry’s social media presence is not a clinical service, a crisis service, or a substitute for professional care.

  2. Not a Crisis or Emergency Service
The Ministry Accounts are not monitored on a continuous basis and are not a crisis or emergency service. Do not use the Ministry Accounts to seek emergency help.

In an emergency or if you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. If you or someone you know is experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 (the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233. To report suspected abuse, abandonment, or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult in Florida, call the Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-96-ABUSE.

  3. Community Standards
We ask that everyone who interacts with the Ministry Accounts, whether by commenting, replying, direct messaging, sharing, or otherwise engaging, follow these community standards.

    • Be respectful.
Treat others with kindness and respect, even when you disagree. Sincere disagreement about clinical, spiritual, or personal matters is welcome; personal attacks, insults, name-calling, harassment, and threats are not.
    • Protect confidentiality.
Do not share protected health information about yourself or others in public comments or reply threads. Do not identify a specific person as a client of the Ministry, the Heal.online program, or any Provider. If you are working with a Provider and want to communicate with the Provider about your care, use the secure channels the Provider identifies at intake, not social media.
    • Do not seek clinical advice through the Ministry Accounts.
Providers do not deliver individualized clinical guidance through social media. Comments, replies, direct messages, and other social media communications that ask for a personal diagnosis, treatment plan, or clinical recommendation will be redirected to the Ministry’s intake process or will not be answered. This is a professional-standards and safety limit, not a lack of care.
    • No testimonials or client stories that identify clinical care.
For the protection of clinical relationships and to respect professional advertising rules, we do not publish or amplify comments, posts, or reviews that describe a specific Provider’s clinical care of a specific person. Please do not tag a Provider in a post that describes your own or another person’s clinical care. Comments that fall into this category may be removed or hidden as described in Section 5.
    • Do not post about others without consent.
Do not post information, images, or video of another identifiable person on the Ministry Accounts without that person’s consent (or, if the person is a minor, without the consent of a parent or legal guardian).
    • No unlawful content.
Do not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, sexually explicit, violent, exploitative, or invasive of another person’s privacy or intellectual property. Do not post content that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other rights.
    • No spam or promotion.
Do not use the Ministry Accounts for unsolicited advertising, spam, chain messages, or promotion of unrelated products, services, or causes. Sharing appropriate resources in the context of a discussion is welcome, provided the resource is directly relevant.
    • Do not impersonate.
Do not impersonate the Ministry, a Provider, a member of the Ministry’s staff, another user, or any other person or organization. Do not use the Ministry’s name, logos, or trademarks in a way that suggests affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement without written permission.
    • Safe messaging on high-risk topics.
If you post or comment on the Ministry Accounts about suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, substance use, trauma, or abuse, please follow recognized safe messaging practices. Do not describe means, methods, quantities, or specific plans. Do not glamorize or sensationalize the topic. Include, where possible, the crisis resources listed in Section 2.

  4. How We Engage
    • Response times.
The Ministry engages with the Ministry Accounts during business hours, on a best-efforts basis, and cannot guarantee a response to any particular comment or message. Non-urgent inquiries may take several business days for a response. Urgent matters should be directed to the resources listed in Section 2 or to the Ministry’s main office by telephone.
    • Redirecting clinical inquiries.
If you send a message that appears to describe a personal clinical situation, we will ordinarily respond by directing you to the Heal.online intake process, to a licensed professional in your area, or to appropriate crisis resources. We will not provide a diagnosis, treatment plan, or personalized clinical recommendation through social media.
    • Mandatory reporting.
Staff members who monitor the Ministry Accounts are subject to the Ministry’s Mandatory Reporter Protocol. If a communication received through the Ministry Accounts identifies a child or vulnerable adult who is being abused, abandoned, or neglected, the receiving staff member will comply with the reporting requirements of Section 39.201 or 415.1034, Florida Statutes, as applicable.
    • Confidentiality of communications received.
Direct messages sent to the Ministry Accounts are not confidential in the sense that clinical communications are confidential, but the Ministry will treat information received through direct messages with appropriate care and will not publicly identify a sender by name or personal detail without the sender’s consent, except as required by law, by the Mandatory Reporter Protocol, or to respond to a clear risk of harm.
  5. Moderation, Removal, and Blocking
    • Enforcement.
The Ministry may remove, hide, or restrict any post, comment, or reply on a Ministry Account that violates these Guidelines, the terms of the applicable platform, or applicable law. The Ministry may also, in its discretion, block or restrict a user who repeatedly or seriously violates these Guidelines, who poses a safety risk to others, or whose conduct is inconsistent with the purposes of the Ministry Accounts.
    • Consistency and platform rules.
The Ministry aims to enforce these Guidelines consistently. Each social media platform imposes its own rules, features, and limitations on moderation, and the Ministry’s ability to act within a platform is limited to what the platform permits. Nothing in these Guidelines expands, limits, or modifies the rules of any platform, and users should also review each platform’s terms of service.
    • Right to appeal.
A user whose comment has been removed or who has been blocked may contact the Ministry at the address in Section 8 to request a review of the action. The Ministry will consider each request in good faith. The Ministry’s decision after review is final.
  6. Ministry Content on Social Media
Educational content the Ministry posts on the Ministry Accounts (including excerpts from articles published on the Heal.online pages) is subject to the Ministry’s Editorial, Educational, and Legal Disclaimer, which is available on the Ministry’s websites. Educational posts are provided for general educational and informational purposes and are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, or counseling advice. Reading or engaging with a post does not create a therapist-client relationship.

The Ministry may share or link to third-party content from time to time. A share, link, or reference does not constitute an endorsement of the third party or a warranty of the content, and the Ministry is not responsible for third-party content, credentials, or practices.
  7. Intellectual Property; User Content
    • Ministry content.
Text, graphics, images, videos, and other content posted by the Ministry on the Ministry Accounts are the property of the Ministry or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Users may share Ministry content through the native share features of the applicable platform. Any other use requires the Ministry’s prior written consent.
    • User content.
By posting a comment, reply, direct message, or other user content on a Ministry Account, you grant the Ministry a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, host, reproduce, display, and moderate the content as reasonably necessary to operate the Ministry Accounts, subject to these Guidelines and the applicable platform’s terms.
    • Reporting infringement.
If you believe that content on a Ministry Account infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to the Ministry at the address in Section 8 containing the information required for a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. Section 512), including identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing content, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
